CSRD Business Partner
We are looking for an experienced CSRD Business Partner to lead the consolidation, validation, and communication of ESG data across our global business units. This role is pivotal in ensuring regulatory compliance, enabling strategic decision-making, and embedding ESG into our core business processes. You will shape SHV Energy’s ESG reporting landscape, including CSRD and EU Taxonomy disclosures, and translate sustainability ambitions into measurable KPIs.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Management and Reporting
Design and implement internal controls, policies, and procedures for ESG data collection, consolidation, and validation across Business Units, non-financial reports, committees, team meets and other forum.
Safeguard the accuracy and completeness of ESG data, ensuring full traceability from source to disclosure and readiness for limited assurance.
Lead the validation cycle - analyse and identify data quality issues, providing feedback to BUs and IT & Data Analytics team on opportunities to optimise data quality, collection processes and systems to minimise workload when collecting primary data.
Collaborate with IT, Finance, and Operations to implement and maintain systems for ESG data aggregation and monitoring.
Prepare, and submit Non-financial reports in line with frameworks and regulations.
Oversee internal and external assurance of ESG data and ensure readiness for limited assurance.
Link ESG metrics to enterprise risk management, financial planning, and strategic decision-making.
Partner with Finance, Sustainable Development, Operations, HR, H&S, and Legal to ensure robust ESG data flows and accountability.
Convert sustainability ambitions (e.g., decarbonisation, circularity, diversity) into measurable, financial-grade KPIs.
Monitor ESG indicators, track progress, develop CSRD report and provide actionable insights and dashboards for relevant teams and leadership
ESG
Work with the GHG Analyst to hand over various quantitative ESG data for them to use as required into climate action projects
Work with Carbon Trader to hand over various quantitative ESG data for them to access
EU Taxonomy
Monitor and analyse changes in EU Taxonomy to understand how EU Taxonomy continues to impact SHVE (+ work with ESG Policy Analyst)
Coordinate and establish SHVE’s position on EU Taxonomy
Synthesise and communicate internally SHVE’s report for EU Taxonomy

Job requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Master’s or postgraduate degree in finance, economics, or sustainable development.
6+ years in green transition, sustainable development, or non-financial reporting.
5+ years in business strategy, ideally focused on ESG.
Proficiency in ESG reporting standards, Greenhouse Gas Protocol, and stakeholder engagement.
Strong quantitative and data processing skills.
Expertise in stakeholder and investor relationship / engagement
Working and co-ordinating across teams with organised and easy to communicate data analytics (good documentation of methodologies, assumptions etc)
